All under body details are now complete. Just have to add the brake staff and wheel and the painting can start. Brake hoses have been added though they might not be visible because they are black. |

How did you do the truss rods?

After mounting Grandt 3" queen posts I drilled out the tops with a No 78 drill. I measured the outside distance from queen post to queen post and marked this on a piece of .015" brass wire. After bending the wire at the marks and test-fitting I super-glued the wire to the queen posts. The ends are not attached.Cheating, I know. I prefer hardened steel wire to brass but brass is easier. Steel stays straight whenv the car is handled. Fishing line always sags for me.
